In our next article, you will see how our team carries out a repair on a 3,000 tonne AIDA press. Due to signs of wear on the splines of the drive shaft, a final replacement was necessary after several emergency repairs and pinning had already been carried out. In the course of this work, new bearings were also installed and a new brake carrier fitted.
